Hiking & Rock climbing adventures

Nov. 7, 2018

As an adventure guide, "work" means being a part of someone's happiest holiday memories.
If I had to return in time, back to my tough start, I would do it all over again. The years I spent guiding shaped my personality and made me the person that I am today...and I'm still learning.
Thank you, Universe 🙏

We have returned from our fantastic trip to Croatia and I have been showing friends and family our photos. The whole trip was incredible and very successful but when someone asked me to name the highlight of the entire holiday, I said it was the Sunset Hike and Gourmet Piknik. It was an amazing evening. I know we were lucky with the clear evening and the beautiful colors which appeared at sunset but the whole experience was so special because of the three of you. The time we spent eating the (completely delicious) food and talking to you all is one of those moments which we will always remember.
With very best wishes,

Even though it was tempestuous weather on the top of Srd we gave it our best shot-hoping the claps of thunder and dark clouds were going the other direction. There were fits of giggles as we did look interesting Tromping across the hill in that weather with our gear (including our "table"). Unfortunately, the weather became very Unpiknik and we had to call it off for our guests - can't say we didn't try! I will not forget the absurdity of that crazy day as the lightning snapped, oh weather you won, but we got some fond memories and extreme piknik training!

Sometimes we hear a question like "What you do during the winter time when the weather in Dubrovnik is bad?"
Here we are... This weekend Mare climbed the most beautiful mountain in Montenegro, Hajla mountain, located at the Montenegro-Metohija border. The height of its highest point at 2,403 m makes it the highest mountain in this northern group of Prokletije mountains. (photo on the left side).
Željka visited Northern Velebit National Park, the youngest of eight national parks in Croatia. This photo was created on the way to Zavižan, one of the best-known localities in the Park, located at 1594 m above sea level, underneath the Vučjak peak.
So, hiking around Dubrovnik is always possible ;)
