Hiking & Rock climbing adventures

Sometimes we hear a question like "What you do during the winter time when the weather in Dubrovnik is bad?"
Here we are... This weekend Mare climbed the most beautiful mountain in Montenegro, Hajla mountain, located at the Montenegro-Metohija border. The height of its highest point at 2,403 m makes it the highest mountain in this northern group of Prokletije mountains. (photo on the left side).
Željka visited Northern Velebit National Park, the youngest of eight national parks in Croatia. This photo was created on the way to Zavižan, one of the best-known localities in the Park, located at 1594 m above sea level, underneath the Vučjak peak.
So, hiking around Dubrovnik is always possible ;)

Hiking Dubrovnik team enjoys parties as much as children and it's really nice when friends honor your birthday by sharing the day with you.
If you are celebrating an important milestone, such as turning 30, 40 or more then it should be celebrated with all the fanfare. For us, this means Birthday Climbing & Caving!

Putting up Christmas decorations doesn't have to be a chore. Invite a few friends over to help, provide the rope, helmet, gloves and thermoses full of warm beverages, and let everyone get creative with your Christmas decor ideas 😁
It was a fantastic day helping friends at Treehouse Resnice Croatia, thank you guys!

A memorable hike up Srdj and off-track piknik!
We had every weather element show up for our piknik - wind, rain, showers, a double rainbow (no jokes please), and sparkling sun to the crimson sundown. It is a testament to not letting a bit o' inclement weather stop you - and ta-da! We had such a nice time there with the view all to ourselves.

Yes, at 3 we heard a thunder clap and Zeljka looked up the hill and said it looks like hell on earth up there! But we asked our gung ho guest how she felt and she was still game to hike with us up Srd. Yeah Claudia! Z and I arrived to sideways wind and rain and decided to relocate on a wild spot down the ridge (her great plan) to a more sheltered place. M and C arrived and wow the clouds broke and we got 2 rainbows and then a wonderful crimson sunset. Nothing stops us and the effort was so worth it!
