Mare was born and raised in Dubrovnik, and has always been drawn to the beauty of the sea and the stone. She lived abroad and traveled extensively, but the lure of the sea eventually brought her back to her hometown. Mare is an experienced kayaker and a skilled skipper who loves to sail wherever the wind takes her. She knows the area's bays, cliffs, and beaches like the back of her hand. She has been practicing rock climbing for many years and has been working as a guide and instructor for various outdoor activities since 2001. Mare can be found climbing or sailing with friends when she's not guiding.
Mare is a licensed sports climbing instructor, mountain guide, and skipper.
Željka was born and raised in Karlovac, a city in the north of Croatia. Her adventurous spirit was sparked at a young age by exploring her hometown's lush parks, rivers, and forests. She eventually became a guide for canoeing, kayaking, cycling, and hiking trips in Croatia. In 1996, she discovered her favorite outdoor activity, speleology, while living in Karlovac after finishing high school. Since then, caving, hiking, camping, climbing, and exploring Croatia have become a way of life for her. When she's not guiding, Željka volunteers for non-profit organizations like the mountaineering club and speleology organizations, sharing her love for the outdoors with friends.
Željka is a licensed mountain guide and Nordic walking guide.
